Ford's line of crossover SUVs holds many well-designed models, and the line starts with the Escape. As Ford's most affordable crossover, the Escape's excellent features and superb styling make it an ideal option for value-minded buyers. In 2024, this compact crossover brings a few updates online, and our team at T&S Ford is ready to give you full details about what the latest model year offers.

Performance

The 2024 model year eliminates the base trim level, leaving the Active, PHEV, ST-Line, ST-Line Select, ST-Line Elite, and Platinum trim levels to choose from. The lower trim levels feature a turbo three-cylinder, 1.5-liter, 180-horsepower engine linked with an auto eight-speed transmission. It offers both front-wheel and all-wheel drive options. The higher trim levels come with a turbo 2.0-liter, four-cylinder, 250-horsepower engine with standard all-wheel drive. There are also a 192-horsepower, hybrid 2.5-liter unit, and a 210-horsepower, four-cylinder plug-in hybrid system with one electric motor.

Appearance

The new model year introduces a new color option for the Ford Escape: Race Red. The exterior design has a flowing, sleek look established by the confident profile and rich contouring on the door panels. The black grille is subtly hexagonal and shows off an innovative mesh design. The chrome accent bar at the top of the grille trends outward to connect to the LED-outlined, dual-elemental headlights. Depending on which of the seven Escape trims that you select, your crossover may have 17-inch wheels or larger, a power liftgate, dark rear windows, skid plates, LED foglamps, heated side mirrors, and a few others.

Features

If you opt for the 2024 Escape ST-Line Elite or Platinum trim levels, your crossover SUV will now have a standard push-button starter. Choose to drive the Escape Active. Your new Ford will have forward collision mitigation, an 8-inch infotainment system screen, on-board Wi-Fi, wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay with Android Auto, a dual-zone auto climate control system, satellite radio, rear USB ports, and others. The higher trims may add evasive steering assist, lane keeping, adaptive cruise control, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and several additional features.

Our crossover selection at T&S Ford is regularly replenished, so we usually have a variety of Escape trims in stock for our customers to compare in person. To continue learning about the 2024 Escape, visit our Ford showroom today.
