Serving White Hall, WV

The popular Ford F-150 pickup truck has maintained its strong appeal among truck shoppers in the White Hall area for several decades, so it rightfully has your full attention today. For 2022, the F-150 is offered in eight trim choices. These are the XL, the XLT, the Lariat, the King Ranch, the Platinum, the Limited, the Tremor, and the Raptor. As you start your F-150 trim comparison, it makes sense to turn your attention to the beginning of the trim lineup. What are the key differences between the F-150 XL and the F-150 XLT?

Performance

Both of these truck options have the same performance capabilities. They have a V6, 3.3-liter engine that delivers 290 horsepower to drivers. A 10-speed automatic transmission accompanies the engine. Shoppers can choose between rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive. For added functionality on the road, both trims have trailer sway control.

Appearance

While the XL and XLT trims are almost identical on the exterior, the XLT has some defining features. Both options display a boxy shape with confident dimensions and solid, lower-body definition along the lower sides. They also show off premium, rectangular headlights capped on two sides by an LED light ribbon. The XL is dressed up with 17-inch steel wheels. The XLT comes with 17-inch aluminum wheels with foglights and a power-locking tailgate. All F-150 trims are available with three cab styles and three truck bed lengths for you to choose from.

Features

There are several differences in cabin and safety features between the XL and XLT. The XL offers a single-zone AC system, an 8-inch touch display screen, Apple CarPlay with Android Auto, lane departure warning, and forward collision mitigation. The XLT builds on the XL’s equipment with power door locks, power windows, cruise control, a blind-spot monitor, rear auto braking, and lane-keeping assistance.
