What's New for the 2024 Ford F-150?
The Ford F-150 is a strong, well-appointed truck that has consistently impressed drivers in the White Hall area over several decades. This full-size truck brings several exciting improvements for you to enjoy in 2024. These updates begin on the exterior with a subtly reshaped profile featuring a stronger angle across the hood. The exterior also has new lighting elements, enhanced LED headlights, and a few new styles of wheels and grilles. The 2024 Ford F-150 truck also comes with a Pro Access tailgate, which features a side hinge for improved access to the bed while towing a trailer. The other exterior features available across the F-150's trims are unchanged, and some of these are a power tailgate with a step, a tailgate work surface, trailer backup assist, power running boards, two-tone paint, heated side mirrors with power adjustments, a trailer hitch and up to 22-inch wheels.
The available powertrains for the 2024 model year have been trimmed down. Specifically, the base V6 and diesel engines have been eliminated. The base engine continues to be a 325-horsepower, V6, 2.7-liter gas engine. A 450-horsepower, V6, 3.5-liter system and a 400-horsepower, V8, 5.0-liter engine are unchanged as well. There is also a V6 hybrid engine that produces 430 horsepower. The mechanical enhancements offered in select 2024 F-150 trims include a locking rear differential, an off-road-tuned suspension, multiple terrain driving modes, and variable steering assist.
Inside the cabin, you can appreciate a few new features as well. These are a head-up display, a larger central display screen, and Blue Cruise hands-free driving. The F-150's entry-level trim continues to come with a lane departure warning, a digital instrument panel, forward collision mitigation, keyless entry, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and a 12-inch display screen with a Sync 4 infotainment system. At higher trim levels, the 2024 F-150 may also have remote engine start, a dual-zone automatic climate control system, massaging front seats, heated seats for both rows, a 360-degree camera, a premium Bang & Olufsen sound system, a navigation system, a heated steering wheel, a wireless device charging station, an AC port outlet, powered adjustments for the pedals, leather upholstery, rear automatic braking, lane keeping assistance and a blind-spot warning.
