As you search for a large SUV decked out with great features, the Ford Expedition may come into the spotlight. This roomy model boasts ample cargo space and seating for up to eight passengers. In the 2023 model year, the Max version becomes available for all trim levels. This version has an extended length, and this produces more space inside the cabin. The other appealing qualities of the 2022 Ford Expedition carry forward to the 2023 model year unchanged.
With its broad stance and a confident style, the 2023 Ford Expedition is easy to spot on the road. Its look is defined by an expansive grille featuring horizontal accent bars and a well-defined hood. LED light ribbons capped the rectangular headlights on the bottom and top. The Expedition’s strong style continues with prominent front and rear bumpers and a long, flat roofline. Depending on the trim selected, your 2023 Expedition may come with up to 22-inch wheels, roof rails, crossbars, trailering gear, and powered running boards.
There are no changes to the cabin and safety features in the 2023 Expedition. The entry-level trim has standard features like a 12-inch infotainment system screen, Ford Co-Pilot360 safety equipment, wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a wireless internet hotspot, and more. At higher trim levels, the Expedition adds a digital instrument panel, a 15.5-inch display screen in the center stack, upgraded leather material, power-folding seats in the middle and last rows, BlueCruise, a surround-view camera, a 22-speaker premium audio system, parking assistance, and other items.
The performance of the 2023 Expedition is equally impressive. The lower trims pull 375 horsepower from a 3.5-liter turbo V6 system connected to an auto 10-speed transmission. Mid and upper trims have a more advanced V6 engine with 440 horsepower. With this engine, some trims add a heavy-duty radiator, an off-road suspension, an electronic limited-slip differential, and low-range gearing. The optional Stealth Performance package includes a twin-turbo V6 engine and sports suspension.
